'07 Wrap Up

What a fruitful, busy year. Recently, I heard my songs on the FM dial 104.7 in Toledo, thanks to Waterville Imports who sponsored me for the charity event. Those guys have been doing some amazing work to keep the bus on the road.

I've continued working on my first studio album, slated for a spring '08 release. I finally got to work with Pete Drievere and his recording studio in Youngstown. An amazing cellist, Scott Burns, flew in from LA so I headed out to Ampreon Recorder to track a couple songs. One of the songs we captured is reminiscent of Eleanor Rigby. While in Youngstown I was invited to play a private party for the Moxie Collective. I made some great new friends that festive night. Since then I rounded out the year playing some more dates in Ohio and the reception of me and the bus has been overwhelmingly positive. We packed Grumpy Dave's bar in Bowling Green for my first ever hometown show. It was great to reconnect so many old friends. The entire crowd at Andyman's Treehouse in Columbus shouted along to The Ohio Song, complete with hand letters O! H! I! O! Then Cinci was one of the most happy nights in live music I've ever had. The Poision Room is a huge venue and it was packed with smiles and dancing excited folks for the Newbees CD release party. I was glad I could open the show. What a great and supportive music scene with loads of talent. All along the way I've continued to scatter remnants of possibilities in the shape of my symbol. Soon you'll see my wordless shirts popping up across the country.

I'll be back recording in early January to finish up my FIRST STUDIO ALBUM with the Bihlman Bros! Look for the new album early this spring. Then I'll be tripping back to the West Coast. What's to follow that? Relentless touring and some other surprises. Be Brilliant in '08!
